A la medianoche se apareció Gabriel a Maria, en sueño le habló.

Fue profetizada esta profecía, por aquel profeta nombrado Isaías. 

Se llegó Gabriel y la saludó, dime quien tu eres ella preguntó

Mi nombre es Gabriel, el la saludó (le contestó), es el padre tierno que a mí me envió

Dios vino a anunciarte, O virgen Maria, que de ti saldrá el niño y el mesías

El angel le dijo bendita tú eres, eres escogida entre de las mujeres

Luego que Maria oyó la embajada, milagrosamente se quedó embarazada

La virgen María y el santo José son los padres buenos de este niño rey
